Henry van Jaarsveld

Only son and youngest child of Henry (Snr) and the late Mabel van Jaarsveld.

Born on 25 March 2000 in Pretoria and living in Mokopane (Potgietersrus) since 2015 where he met his beautiful bride-to-be in highschool.

Referred to as “Kerneels” by his loved ones, with an impressive knowledge of concrete, wildlife, engines, etc. you’ll be impressed with his cooking skills.

Haley Delport

Only child and treasured daughter of Wendy Delport (née Barkhuisen).

Born on 15 July 2004 and raised in Mokopane (Potgietersrus) where she met a fell head-over-heels with the love of her life.

Studying Early Childhood Development to become a pre-school teacher you would definately be surprised at what she knows about truck engines.

The Venue

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Die Boer en Die Belg on the R520 (Mineral Baths Road) just off the R101 near Mookgophong (Naboomspruit).

The ceremony will be held in the bush chapel, under “The Marriage Tree” which is a large Marula tree. A whole range of beliefs is developed around this tree; it is known to the Zulus as a symbol of fertility and is used in a cleansing ritual before marriage.

The waiting area, reception hall, bathroom facilities and cash bar are situated on a big open field with a beautiful view of the Waterberg.

Accommodation

There are various accommodation options available at the Die Boer en Die Belg itself. These accomodation options are a variety of shared rooms and camping facilities.
